About Me
I am a freelance writer based out of Okotoks, Alberta, though I frequent coffee shops in Calgary, 20 kilometres away. I was born and educated on the East Coast of Canada, but moved to Alberta in 2007.
I have written for Canadian magazines, newspapers and community-driven news sites. I'm always on the lookout for new and interesting opportunities.
I use the term "wordsmith" to describe myself, as I like to play with words and use them creatively in the development of stories.
I have written on a wide array of topics, including everything from rodeo coverage to the latest on the local music scene and much more.
My background includes journalism, creative writing and photography. I have learned how to analyze information, spot key data and arguments and present it in a clear and concise way.
I can provide a wide range of freelance writing services. I also do proofreading and editing and some photography.
